youre absolutely right, people DONT have to eat beef and there lies the problem. The fast food and beef sector will be punished hard. I think IDXX can benefit from this unfortunate situation. Look at what happened in Europe over the past decade as an example. The only reason it wont be as harmful in the US is because in Europe, cattle were fed ground up brain and spinal cord of infected cows but in the US, I dont think they are allowed to feed them this. IDXX already up today and MCD's down quite abit. It has already started. 1 infected cow and already Japan, Korea and Singapore has halted US beef imports. This is big news.
