I am fairly new to investing. I find technical analysis fascinating but I have an inherent feeling that in the long run it does not pay as well as just investing in the Vanguard 500. I guess buy and hold stratagely has been pounded in me. Has there been any studies that indicate what percentage of traders using technical analysis make money? Do you have any suggestions for books to read to learn more about technical analysis?
