It is a dead-end technology and has been for years. RFI does not spend any significant money on real R&D. RFI doesn't even have ONE working SPD window installed in their own offices (and this is over two years after the false "commercialization" promotion) Remember the "black particle" fiasco? <<Do you not think that it works as described?>> No...not "as described" in REFR's promotional statements. SPD has severe limitations. It may have some "gee-whiz" value in a very limited application...but then again so do rocket-belts. The laws of physics, chemistry, and the economics of mass production constrain both to "expensive demo" status...forever. <<Do you know of any technical problems that will make it unmarketable?>> For starters...you always need to have electricity available to keep it in its clear state. That kills it right there...but let's continue... - limited range. - undesirable color. - uses organic compounds. - ridiculously expensive. Doesn't it strike you as just a little bit odd that SPD has been well-understood for almost 80 years, and yet it has NEVER been successfully "commercialized"?
