I don't listen to Rush, please provide evidence or your accusations, start with the fabricated ones.

There were several books written on the subject...I'm sure they can be easily found through Amazon.com and found/ordered by your local library. [You may recall that in an earlier post and subject, I went through the effort of researching Senate majority leadership during the Reagan Administration for someone and provide sources; the gentleman was kind enough to indicate that I didn't know my history and was clearly wrong. I'll point conservatives on the thread where they can find the info, but I'm not doing their research.]

You really have a low opinion of those people who live in those "red" states voting for Bush, don't you?

Not a low opinion, in particular, wrt the red states or blue states. I am disappointed [which falls short of low opinion] in people that don't challenge what they are told and don't look into the source. Digressing a moment, I rarely read news items of any persuasion, left or right, as my way of assessing US Supreme Court decisions; I read, at least, the summary of the Court. More often than not, the Courts' summary is substantially different than what appears in the media. All media outlets are looking for readership and sacrifice to varying degrees accuracy to obtain readership. Someone may wish to label me, with what has incorrectly become a perjorative, liberal elitist; but I like to look at the underlying information and come to my own conclusions. That's how I choose to spend some of my time. Other people may not choose to spend their time in that manner. This does not imply that I have a low opinion of them, they have different priorities in their lives.

You can accept the "tax and spend Democrats label" or you can go to the GPO site, look up the historical budget data and map it against Administrations and majority rule in Congress. The later takes a lot more work, but I believe a reasonable person comes up with a different answer.

I do have a low opinion of people that can not doubt their own infallibility.

Regards,
jttmab
