Thanks for your post. I hope I have a lot of "watchers" out there who read and don't care to post. I am a believer in a low carb diet with lots of fat and sat fat. If you are happy with what you eat, (which I would dislike) fine for you. Otherwise, you are doing well. I doubt if you are high Lp(a) but next time you get tested make sure you get tested for it, no matter what your Cardio says. Their amount of ignorance about it is astounding. Main reason is that they are clueless as how to treat it.

Please add Vitamin K to your supplements. I use Life Extensions "Super K" but there is no "right" one. I take two teaspoons of Carlson's lemon flavored Fish oil daily. Unless you are eating a lot of fish, you really need it. Get all my supplements from Amazon, mainly on their "Subscribe and Save" program. I have found them the best way to handle that.

I consider both of the above a "must" for people with known heart disease, of which you are one.

Don't feel bad about your amount of exercise. They try to guilt you about that because "everybody" believes in it. Just get out of the house and do something every day.

I don't worry about Lipids that much any more, unless you are way high. We are going though a transition on that subject, and "nobody knows." Half the people showing up in ER's with a heart attack have lipids in the "normal" range.
