As someone in the same industry as SAP and Oracle Financials (although not working for either company) I'd say that SAP is on the wane. Their technology is breathtakingly awful, I mean really, really, bad. Oracle have a good chance on doing well, since Baan is doing very well at SAP's expense which shows there is an opportunity. SAP may be the company that never quite held on to their lead. I wonder how they managed to get there in the first place, to be honest. SAP are not invinceable and Oracle have good technology, and a lot of sales people. Richard
