Mike, I was hoping that the article you posted would hit the nail on the
head. It was instructive to a point, but reiterated many of the old refrains
we've been hearing from newly enlightened journos over the past two
years.

Dave Horne and I have been dissecting the finer points of this issue in the
ATHM thread. You may want to view some of those opinions there, as we
get a little closer to some od the architectural issues that make a difference,
not only for DSL but for cable modem as well.
