(off topic)Andrew: Fun for the kids while Daddy watches Super Bowl:
Different type of brownies...colorful...and oh, so, sweet!
Banana Split-Brownie Pizza
1 (21 ounce) pkg brownie mix 1 (8 ounce) can pineapple tidbits 2 (8 ounce) packages creame cheese, softened 2/3 cup sugar 3 bananas, sliced 1 pint strawberries, sliced 1/2 cup chopped pecans, toasteed 1 (1 ounce) square semisweet chocolate 1 TABLESPOON butter or margarine
Prepare brownie mix according to package directions; spread batter into a greased 15-inch pizza pan.
Bake at 375 for 15 to 20 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool completely in pan on a wire rack.
Drain pineapple tidbits well, pressing between layers of paper towels to remove excess juice.
Beat cream cheese and sugar in a medium mixing bowl at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth. Spread mixture over cooled brownie crust; arrange pineapple, banana, strawberries, and pecans on top.
Combine chocolate and butter in a 1 cup liquid measuring cup, microware at HIGH for 1 minute, stirrring after 30 seconds. Drizzle over fruit. Chill 1 hour. Serve immediately. Yield: 16 servings.
(Andrew, this should give a hint as to why I'm on a diet!)
To all readers of this post: No, this is not a cooking class. Just wished to return a favor to Andrew for all of his research on a stock I had asked him about (CNC).
Many thanks, again, Andrew. If you have children, hopefully you will have not only gooey brownies but also no interruptions during the Super Bowl Sunday!
Best regards,
