Duncan posted the following:

"-NEWS FLASH - Computer Retail Week June 14, 1996

BOULDER, COLO.-A year after entering the consumer market, Exabyte plans to go head-to-head with Iomega when it releases what it claims is the world's first cordless, removable tape drive for the PC."

The LAST FIVE WORDS of this news release is the downfall for this company: "...removable TAPE drive for this PC."

The WORLD is flocking AWAY from TAPE. TAPE breaks. TAPE stretches (thus losing information). TAPE wears out. TAPE ages.

TAPE is H-I-S-T-O-R-Y.

Next batter. ;)
