I follow the futures and believe they do mean something. It measures market sentiment at a given moment in time.
They do vary and change direction often based upon news and other factors but so does the NAZ - NAZ was up 20 early and wound up down 63 for the day.
The bear you are would you prefer them up 50 or down 50 right now?
