Time Inc to fold Mutual Funds Magazine By Christopher Grimes in New York Published: October 7 2002 23:41 \| Last Updated: October 7 2002 23:41 Financial Times Time Inc, AOL Time Warner's magazine unit, on Monday said it would quit publishing Mutual Funds Magazine after the November issue. The closure reflects a continuing advertising slump, which has had an outsied impact on financial and technology publications. Ann Moore, chiarman and chief executive of Time Inc, said the growth prospects for the 825,000-circulation magazine had dimmed. "The mutual funds industry is undergoing fundamental structural changes, and this has created a difficult outlook for fund advertising over the long-term," Ms Moore said. Last week, Forbes closed its technology magazine, ASAP, citing the ongoing slump in financial and technology advertising.
