Sun,

Did he say over what time span the company is expected to grow 20%? Did he say that this growth rate was to be consistent or merely an average growth rate over a certain period of time?

He only said indefinitely. And it is my belief that this was an average over time, with wide fluctuations assumed. Graham knew the market gyrated and IMHO would not stop making LT investment decision because the growth rate compressed within a given time window. This is all through my eyes; he of course never overtly states this.

. Just ask Warren if AMAT, MSFT, or any of the techs meet the buy standard set by Graham. It's o.k. if you can't reach him, just check to see how many of these stocks are in his portfolio

Even Warren makes mistakes- after all, he owns no AMAT<GGG> Seriously, there were a number of bad investments he made. Pan Am is among the most noticable if I am not mistaken.
