UPDATE -

Mortgage rates have caused the market to stumble. I see many construction projects halted in their tracks. Some markets are overbuilt, especially with multi-unit housing.

Interest rates seem to have peaked for the moment, but should rise again as the economy, most likely, is headed into recession and job losses should escalate.

Time will tell.
