Hi Jonathan. Don`t know enough about PC to give you any advice. You should look for a non- market making firm that will give you excellent service and willing to go to bat for you on any kind of problem. Not put you on hold or transfer you all over the place and put the blame on everybody else but themself`s. I`m with Brown & Co. They had some problems in the past with busy phone lines but that no longer seems to be the case. They will be on the internet this fall and you can use the phone trader, their 800 online service, or call a broker. You get real time quotes depending how much you trade. Executions are excellent! The record is on an option trade that was executed in 2 seconds (limit order). Orders filled in-between the spead. Also had a problem with an option order were the market maker of the option backed away from the trade and would not fill it. Brown went to bat for me and got me the execution at my price. I`m not saying that Brown is the best but they are the only firm out of 8 that I had the least amount of problems with.
