Look at the big picture, didn't MS buy a big chunk of Dreamworks? And didn't MS come up with the CICAT proposal that dumps the high quality Hi-Definition TV picture aspect of the broadcasting industry's Grand Alliance standard -- effectively dumbing-down digiTV to better suit computer companies than broadcasters, consumer electronics manufacturers, or end-consumers of the digiTV signal?

MS wants to control digital broadcast standards so they can exploit their multimedia and Net potential. Control freaks they are.
