Bill's Joy-less Mindset.....

>>Have you read Bill Joy's article in the latest issue of Wired? I found it quite disturbing.

Your thoughts (100 words or less....okay, 200 words<g>) on it?>>

George:

Bill Joys article should be incredibly disturbing for it can easily suck us into believing that there is and will continue to be thess powerfully negative forces which can easily subvert our core freedoms.

Well, you know what. There ARE powerfully negative forces which CAN and WILL control us.

But here's the catch. These forces will only succeed to the extent that individuals continue down the sorry path of NOT claiming their power, energy and control.

And what do they have to do to prevent Joy's joyless world from becoming a reality.

Start by extending trust back out into the world.

Learn to take risks.

Get into the paradigm of service.

Bill Joy is writing from the context of a black hole.

Unfortunately, if he experienced the incredible energy, power, vision, mission and light that comes when you break through fear and cross the line, he'd be judged by his peers as preaching.

The potential for technology to imprison and control us is very real.

But if Bill experienced and shared his "joy" with the world instead of his fear, we would all be incredibly more WIRED.

If you want to feel "wired" try claiming your energy and power. But you have to give up on trying to do this yourself.

Go back to when you were a little child. Try to imagine what the world could look like.

I was really turned off by Joy's joyless spirit.

There IS hope and light in the world. All you have to do is spend some time with children.

Peace.

GO!!

PS - sorry about the 200 word limit.
