Jamie, I don't recall telling you that I am a value investor. I might have said that I don't buy in to hyped-up companies. I don't pay too much attention to PE rations. I do try to buy good growth stories much before they happen. If you click on my name you will see a note in which I mentined my investment history in one of the notes I posted under "Ask Mike Burke" thread. In the last 6 years I was able to spot good growth stories much before the Street noticed them. Of course I did have some duds too.
I owned Intelligent Electronincs about a couple of years ago and when the fundamentals started turning south I sold for minor loss. I don't follow it these days but I think they have good survival skills and good business base. The seem to have addressed the issue of alleged "overbilling" well. I do buy speculative stocks and I will look in to WAVO.
BTW, why do you think cable modems is a wrong reason to bet on STII. In fact, that is one of my reasons. If I am not mistaken, the management is also excited about it.
Good luck!
-Mohan
