We were at a large resort for a festival about a month ago.. A cross section of people.. I purposely mentioned pms as an investment when I had a chance.. Almost all looked at me as if I was crazy or had started partying too early that day.. Well that probably happened but I had my wits about me, most of the time, anyway..:) Most of the people I talked to we knew and I was not surprised they were in conventional, mainstream investments.. Some retired, some nearing retirement..Mostly pretty darn affluent though, I would guess. There was one woman that showed some interest so I gave her some sites like Kitco, 321 Gold, etc. to start some research.. She wrote them down.. I don't know if she followed up or not.. Btw, my brother is the only one I know of that has followed my advice.. But I told him to look at it as insurance only.. So I hope his first investment outside of cattle, farm equipment, barb wire and baling twine works out.. Usually one's first venture outside is the best and then it's all down hill..
