I get the feeling that as the market changes its *values* NOVL could benefit as moneys could flow out from the more speculative technology stocks to the tested, debt free and *slower* (but secure) growers. For example current valuations show NOVL with a PE of 26 vs S&P 24 and the rest of the software industry @ -126 and when you take into account that the growth rate of NOVL earnings is 3 times that of S&P you see that NOVL deserves a higher PE multiple.

Importantly cash flow valuations are also in NOVLs favor. One consequence of the market collapse could be that some of the older more established companies with no debt, real earnings and cash at hand will try to reassert themselves as liquidity dries up for the more speculative issues. This is a time to buy NOVL and is a time for NOVL to take over some of the smaller competitors.

I know there is no too much to cheer about with what is going on in the market but I think that the NOVL investor should be ok in the end.

Have a good week-end everyone.

PS Paul good job @ the annual meet!
