RE: Herb Greenberg's Strange Logic

Dale and all,

Thanks for the notice about HG's latest swipe
at Iomega, Dale. I love his logic. He says:

>If Nomai's disks are inferior to Iomega's,
>how could it [sic] be violating Iomega's patents?

According to this thinking, Alexander Graham
Bell's patent for transmission of voice over
a wire, one of the best patents in history
because of its ability to stand up to challenge,
would be invalid if a challenger started selling
telephone equipment that transmitted the human
voice over a wire as long as the quality of
the transmission and the reliability of the
connection weren't as good as one would get
on Bell's equipment. Yeah, right. How well
do all those spouse lawyers out there think
THAT kind of logic will stand up in court?

LOL

Cheers, Tom (long IOM)
