UI is lower than expected, lower UI = higher wages = inflation = potentially higher interest rates from the feds..... Not great for the mkts ... Lots of serious haircuts out there today, VECO Semiconductor equipment maker warns that Q3 earnings will come in between $0.18 and $0.22, well below the $0.40 a share anticipated by analysts. Sees 7% yr/yr increase in sales to $93 mln vs company expectations of $104 mln.... Marimba, Razor Fish among others, ... all losing nearly 50% mkt cap, ouch....
