If you want to start up a lumber company, it is cheaper to go overthere and start from scratch. The Brazil recently opened several Amazon park land for timber development. You do not have to buy the land only pay the gov for the timber. Get you a chain saw, mule, gov regulation and a license + a pocket full of money and you are in business.
