Realistically Cramer is the Jerry Springer of financial news....or maybe Morton Downey Jr.....or Wally George.

Cramer and CNBC are pandering to the viewers who buy the sensationalistic crap in much the same way that Oprah does.

I certainly don't mind Cramer being called on his bullshit. It just feels more like what they are trying to do with Rush Limbaugh (to whom I have never listened).

Nobody gave a shit when Cramer was blatantly bullshitting his viewers, but within a week of him holding up a photo (or was it a drawing) of Lenin and saying we were on our way to socialism, he got his pee pee slapped.

I would never step up to defend the crap that Cramer has pulled, Jon Stewart had him dead to rights, but I am questioning the timing and motives of the attack on Cramer/CNBC.

And the next day, three CNBC anchors were grilling the republican congressman (from kentucky, I believe).

It just seems very contrived.
