There's definitely some more bond weakness today, but incredibly this ECB-mortgage agencies news barely gets a mention, it's mostly about the heavy supply. Stock market barely effected, hard to figure and more than a little nutty.:

07:25 ET Bond Market Update : Bonds lower in early trading. Ten-year Treasury note down half a point to yield 4.24%. With a light economic calendar today through Wednesday - before bombarding us with data Thursday and Friday - market is fretting the upcoming Treasury auctions. The Treasury Department is scheduled to provide an estimate of its 3Q03 financing needs at 15:00 ET today, and will announce the size of its 3-, 5-, and 10-year note auctions Wednesday. With no other news scheduled for today, this afternoon's Treasury Department estimate may set the tone for the week (and perhaps beyond).
