Twister, I find some of the opposing points of view you've made in this thread useful, especially as a counterbalance to the choir preachers (myself included). However, I can't help but feel that if you spent half the time you dedicate here to a stock(s) you actually own, your investments would be much better off. A quick check of your posts prove that you spend the majority of your time here, with a company you have concluded is a terribly investment.
If as you have stated in the past, you're only here to rattle some cages and be a devil's advocate, (with no ulterior motives), then I have to say: get a life! I don't think this is the case, however. A more reasonable conclusion is that you DO have something to gain by being here, namely shorting the stock.
From your post #219: "Oh good, I thought the days of being able to short Apple with impunity were long gone."
I for one, will continue to read your posts, but as coming from the point of view of a shorter.
