MC, that's an interesting question. I have sometimes seen the "dogs" not get hammered in a general market correction. In fact there have been times that people take profits from the hi fliers and put it into stocks that are already depressed (buy low). IMO if we get a sharp 87 kind of correction, then all stocks get killed, undervalued and overvalued alike. What happens is that there are many people that buy stocks on margin and get margin calls. They will then give up their gambles (i.e. dogs) to cover for their good (they believe) stocks. Like most things in this market, there are no absolute rules. Then more I play, the more I realize that I don't know very much about the market. Does anybody?
