Tail between my legs...I'm one of the 15% RIF "victims". I believe Tencor will definitely survive just fine. Building is expensive, but they're pretty flush with cash and coming out with good stuff all the time. But with the poor visibility and negative earnings forecast thru '97 at least what's the hurry/worry to buy unless you want to ride these waves? Which will probably go on for a while IMO. Or just buy and forget it until the industry bucks up.
