I don't see many PowerMacs being sold except to those who "really" need the expansion bays and faster graphics.

...Unless you want a screen bigger than 15", like many ordinary users and all graphics professionals certainly would. We also don't know what size the backside cache is in the new iMacs--if it's not as large at the desktop 800Mhz machine (say 256k vs. 1MB), then it won't be nearly as fast. I believe HerbVic posted earlier about this problem in an iMac.

I'm holding out hope that new, much faster desktop Power Macs well over 1Ghz come out by Macworld Japan. Apple can't afford to wait until the WWDC in May to introduce 1Ghz models. I was severely disappointed they did not announce them today. Overall, I'd have to rate this Macworld disappointing. No new Power Macs, no iWalk or other digital device, nothing to live up to Apple's own hype.
