Whoever wrote that article stretched the metaphor entirely beyond logical recognition. Another fatuous attempt at guilt by association.

I don't know what the future holds any more than any of you, but I think it's very possible Obama is going to surprise all of you conservative nay-sayers.

Or are you neigh-sayers? Perhaps I should knock off a couple of thousand words comparing right-wingers to donkeys. Or maybe ten words are enough.
