Ron, some of your questions I can answer, others I can't. First of all, I have never cancelled an order during market hours with JB so I don't know about that. Secondly, I use their JB Online Software, which I consider to be real good. It's rarely busy and your account is updated that evening to accurately reflect your balances for the day. I went on their Internet Site a few times and was not too impressed. I know their online software ( which has no charges like some other outfits ) is the way to go. Their telephone trader ( which is the same 18 dollar fee, including $3 for postage and handling) is excellent also. I don't have a margin or options account with JB. I use National Discount Brokers and PC Financial for that. JB is pretty bad on mutual fund offerings also. I use them for straight stock market buys over $1. Their great for that. I wouldn't set up an IRA with them either. Their, in my opinion, a rip off with the fees involved. I rarely deal with customer service, as I only place limit orders and everything basically takes place on line. In short: If you accept the limits of what they have to offer, their great!
