02 10 08 be ready to switch, but remain in the bond fund

Above is all the funds that are available to us at peabody in the vanguard 401k fund.

There are two things in which I would like to call attention to on every chart and that is that the red moving average line is over the blue in every case. This is bearish and not what you want if you are holding one of these funds.

The other thing I would like to call attention to that on most every chart the indicator at the bottom of the chart called slow stochastics are in a position associated with good buying opportunitys. Below is a link to familarize your self with this indicator.

Amoung the investors that I associated with most feel a bear market is HERE, the others feel that because we havent reached a decline of more than 20% that a bear market cant be declared at this time because the difinition of a bear market is a 20% decline.

This is a long term trading site no not geared toward a lot of trading. Thus until the We get confirmed signals I will not issue a change in recommendations.

We lost a little money last week in the bond fund last week and this is a message that stock prices fell and so did bond prices, this is the first time this has happen sense the decline in stocks has happened.

If you look at the link below it compares the three sectors small cap, mid cap , and large cap stocks, notice that they are all in a down trend. Also notice that mid caps are now the leader and will be the area of focus it a change in funds happens this week.

With the positive readings on the slow stocastics indicator mentioned above it is possible that a meaningful market rally is about to occurr.

But I want to see a few things first before making this recommendation. I want to see the chart above reverse in the yellow box area on the chart.

This may happen mid week, and if so I may call a fund change recommendation sometime mid week. So Stay tuned I may post this mid week.
