thall: Like Richard, I appreciate your skepticism. I am not a chemist, physicist, or metellurgist, so I will not try to argue with you on a technical basis.

However, as Richard pointed out, GPGI has put metal on the table; Dore bars that include high platinum contents. Alot of different companies are putting alot of effort into building plants for extracting the metals.

While I would be alot more skeptical if there was only one company out there saying that they can recover the goodies, there are several, who all are trying different methods. It's harder for me to buy the notion that this whole "dessert sand" area is a scam, when there are several companies out there, and more coming in.

IMO, something is going on here, and being on in on the front end will be more profitable than watching the train go by.

What would your experience have told you about heap leaching 20 years ago?
