Glenn, Thank you for the very interesting post on KM. Though I invested in Ampex long before I knew anything about KM, solid research information such as this, demonstrates the validity of this technology. Provided that KM can be implemented economically, I can not imagine why all disk-drive manufactures would not incorporate KM not to only increase disk storage densities, but as your post states, reduced soft error rates, which in its self, would increase overall disk performance. As other post have indicated, AXC based on its fundamentals, without KM in the picture, should be trading in the 10- to 11-dollar range. Since KM is in the picture, and much of the street thinks that AXC is mostly based on KM, the stock trades at an undervalued 6-3/4 to 7-3/4, as everyone waits for KM news. I would hate to think what AXC will trade for if the first news from a drive maker is that they going to put-off implementation of KM for awhile due to one reason or another. But on the hand, if that happens, then that would truly be an exceptional buy opportunity. However, when the time comes that any disk-drive maker announces that they will implement KM, we will see new record highs that would make anyone happy who is on board, even if they bought in during the last record high. Happy accumulation! |
