It is indeed very disturbing that McCain's pick abused the powers of her office to settle personal scores. But what is more disturbing is that if she was vetted before the pick as McCain's campaign claimed and McCain picked her inspite of that, the it is not "Country first." It is McCain first because his rationale for picking her was that the pick would get him a win.

Is that Country First?
