Paul Your statement " .... Do you believe, afga, Kodak, Polychrome (who just spent 380mm on new plate manufaturing facilities and equiptment), are going to roll over and die. .. " is highly emotional . Just because a company is big does not mean it makes no mistakes, or that it will forever dominates its market. The clasical example of IBM and Microsoft, Microsoft and Netscape, or MCI and ATT, ...all proof that the biggest is not always the smartest or better managed. Good technology and new ideas will always win out.
