In the 'ficiticous world' 50-70% of people are 'information workers' who are involved in producing 'products' that are stored as bits in computer files and databases. Come to think of it, that is the world we now live in today. Unfortunately, our laws, buildings, infrastructure spending priorities, foreign policies, etc. are still arranged around a different 'fictitious world'.. one in which 70% of people lived on or near the farm or worked in factories. That is not the real worl of today unless you happen to live in rural India, in which case, excuse me.
