Bush's campaign in 2000 was a big lie. It started with the phony energy crisis and promises to be a moderate compassionate stay-at-home conservative. It ended with gross cheating in Florida and then a turn to the hard rightwing as soon as he got into power. Looking back at 2000, you will see almost all of Bush's campaign promises have been broken, and were therefore lies. Nobody expected the neocons and religious right to rule this administration. Then after 9-11, Bushies used the war on terror and the invasion of Iraq to steal a second and third election. Also more voter fraud in Ohio last year. We may never know who really won the 2004 election. At least we know it was very close.
