the Y2K hype if you listen to buffoons like Yardeni is that it will cause a massive global recession.

Until it becomes a non event, the analysts are speculating the Fed will be reluctant to tighten when Y2K is going to do the job anyway.

I doubt that AG will be influenced overly by Y2K hype.

But I don't expect that fundamentals will cause him to tighten again anyway.
