Personally I don't think the levels of various types of energy used should primarily be a government controlled or driven goal at all.

Hell, even the neanderthal in chief is begining to talk about this. Of course for him it's an evasive move. Oh well, i could continue to bat this around with you, but you have more patience than I do.

Weighed waaayyy up by massive potential consequences. Certainly more massive than your garden variety hurricane. Actually some say its cum effect is likely to be measured in hurricane consequence resolution.
