Result: stocks up

10:25 AM - PPT trader quits buying
Result: stocks go sideways

11:02 AM - PPT trader makes a bathroom call. Finds a copy of the WSJ on the floor and reads the fluff column on
page 1. Subject: "Part-time shoe repair for fun and profit-Robert Rubin's secret success story". PPT trader takes many
notes, then leaves the bathroom. Preoccupied with shoe repair, he forgets to wash hands as per OHSA regulation
100.31. Returns to bathroom to wash hands.
Result: stocks drop solidly for 22 minutes

11:24 AM - PPT trader returns to desk. Buys to support market
Result: market stabilizes, then rallies

11:52 AM - PPT trader distracted by Maria Bartiromo on CNBC. Accidently hits 'sell' button when he leans forward
to get a better view of her on his 5" portable TV. 10,000 S&P contracts sold at the market.
Result: stocks plunge

12:12 PM - PPT trader summoned to boss's office for explanation.
Result: stocks drop further.

12:36 PM - PPT trader buys back his accidental short position and adds a few contracts for good measure.
Result: stocks up sharply

1:00 PM - Chow time. PPT trader goes to Fish Market to get sandwich.
Result: stocks down slightly

3:19 PM - PPT trader falls asleep as CNBC's Bob Pisani naively explain the reasons behind the day's market turns.
Result: stocks fall sharply in end of day selling
