Thanks Tom for that dash of thoughtfulness in this soup of unreasonable tripe. It makes a heck of a lot more sense to me that people (no matter how technically competent) will choose the easier path. The thought with many people is "if it ain't broke don't fix it" (why change my AOL if I don't really need to?) I agree that they won't be losing market share anytime soon and I think in the long run the share price will continue to go up (simply because people are lazy.) The sooner the shorts realize that there are not a lot of people in this world who are technically competent and who don't really want to learn anything new, the better off they will be. Just the act of saying "AOL sucks" does not in itself a) chase people away from the service, b) make the company lose money, or c) make the stock price go down.

That's my long-term thinking....now short term I'm looking for a bit of a pullback so I can move up the expiration date on my Oct Calls (I'd rather expire in July and take the premium and get out so I can buy back in at a lower price.) I don't know if this will work or not ......
ah, the wonderful world of options......
