Tom, very insightful posting! People go with AOL for technical ease
of startup and stay for content provided. At $19.95/month,unlimited
usage, the price is right! It's a little like Cablevision in my
area vs. the dish providers. I hate Cablevision but love cable and
know what to expect from that company and am afraid or too lazy
to switch over. People don't care for AOL but they seem to be
improving service and acting just a touch humble. There's also the
rumor-that-won't-go-away about a Disney buy out that's supporting
the price to some degree. If you think about it, it's a pretty
logical step for DIS although the $$$ would be steep.
