I worked in state government for 20 years, and spent two years at the university of Washington studying the theory of government and how they work. MPA degree.

There is a science of how to establish a good sophisticated government, first spelled out by the great Max Weber, and like democracy is a great invention of the human species.

And successful governments like the Nordic countries, or even our Democrats KNOW and apply the science--I did!

So I know exactly how positions are created and dismissed, and the mechanisms work quite well considering the human condition.

All modern democracies have methods to ensure governments works efficiently. Some better than others.

For the most part this mantra by the right wing of all the waste in government is a MYTH.

And people believe it, because the plutocrats use the right wing propaganda machine to spread the myths and people like MAGA embrace it because they wrap it in hatred of liberal values.

And the huge mistake MAGA makes, and made big time with Trump, is they don't know how it pertains to them and will come back and bite them in the ass, as it is doing right now with Trump destroying programs they depend on like Medicaid, food stamps, and the social safety net.

The rich don't need personal government, and don't want to pay for it.
