The reality is, they've never gone away. Maybe we weren't talking about them, or thinking about them, but the threat has always been with us. Trump, by acting like he won't enforce long standing commitments and appointing an administration of ass-kissing clowns, has made every country with the capability or the funds to start thinking maybe they should get their own.
