>This civilization and country has been attacked in the most cowardly, insidious and murderous manner

True.

>The primary point here is that this must never ever never happen again.

I agree. I tend to disagree on the ways how to accomplish this. The current path we are going ("smoking them out of their holes") is, IMHO, terribly and simply the WRONG way to do it and it will lead to making events like last week's occur again and again. The way to do it is changing our FOREIGN POLICY towards the Arab and Islamic world. We should start there FIRST.

>We elect them to protect and provide security.

They obviously failed to do that in this instance:(

>They said they will do it, and I trust that they will see that it never happens again.

They have been saying they will win the war on drugs, crime, poverty and all that crap too! I DON'T trust them, especially Republicans AND Democrats. And that is why I voted for Nader, at least he stood for something<g>

>Whoever the culprit is (I think we are closing in) will be caught,

We are closing in....good one!

>That's all there is to it.

I am afraid there is A LOT MORE into this issue. Why do we keep trying to make everything every simple here, you know them evil us good, Coke Pepsi, Who wants to be a Millionaire Weakest Link. The phenomenon of terrorism is not simple at all, you thrown into it Islamic fundamentalists, Middle East politics, graveyard Afganistan, and more and it becomes a humongous salad...and we here in the US don't like salads, too complicated for our intellect, we prefer Big Mac supersized or a six pack of Bud..

>Just watch it happen.

Should I bring popcorn?<g>

Nothing personal ok?<g>
