Slider, it appears to be quite tricky here. POG is notoriously difficult to EW. I have one ST to IT bullish possibility on the table, and I can not really find a bearish one at the moment, as the wave structure does not pop one out. That does not mean it isn't there. Therefore just taking it as it comes.

If there is any one thing I might consider different about this possibility it would be the time aspect. It could easily take longer than shown for the B and C to complete, and POG would wide up closer to its LT uptrend line, before the next true impulse uptrend would start. Petch has commented on this as well, and he seems to be of the opinion it might be '07 before the next really big wave starts. On this chart I have shown the 2 correction taking about 50% w/r to time, of the 1. If it takes longer, which is highly likely, the next possibilities would wind up hitting in the fall of '06.

On a very ST basis it appears POG is in a consolidation, that should not last very long. If it is a ST consolidation, the next move will bust POG up and out of this triangle, but I would have to then consider this move as still a part of larger degree correction underway.
