OT- I don't want to pile up this board with OT posts. Phil Gramm was one of the key players in undoing Glass-Steagall after which big banks were allowed to be too big to fail. He is now vice chairman at one of UBS's division. I would kick him if I can find him because he was just quoted as saying “I’ve never seen any evidence to substantiate any claim that this current financial crisis had anything to do with Gramm-Leach-Bliley (undoing of Glass-Steagall).... In fact, you couldn’t have had the assisted takeovers you had.... More institutions would have failed.” What exactly does a Vice Chairman do and how do I get a job like that?
