In the past, I've complained about America's media not keeping us informed. That has changed a lot in the past year. Now they are much less likely to withhold info from us.....but maybe that's not the good thing I thought it was. It turns out the pumps in NO are defective. The Corp of Army engineers installed them even though they knew they were defective.....as hard as that is to believe. When I read that, it suddenly dawned on me that maybe the reason the American media held back reporting on the truth all those years is because they knew the truth would just depress us. And they're right...........there are so many serious screwups you have to wonder if anyone knows what the hell they're doing.
