The goosed credulous investor note should have been on the Allelomimetic School of Trading thread, Monty. I'm deeply sorry for the error. I take SI posts extremely seriously, and it was never my intention to post a note on the wrong thread, where it might not be understood. Unfortunately, the 15-minute editing period has elapsed, and I cannot correct the error. Suffice it to say that traders who aren't familiar with allelomimetic trading strategies should ignore the note.

On this thread, we can define the concept with some specificity, because of the advanced learning of the thread's traders. Webster's defines "goose" as a "sudden playful prod in the backside." The market seems to have a habit of playfully prodding traders in the backside, especially goose-stepping credulous investors. The market's a naughty boy.

The Encyclopedia of Animal Behavior says that goose-stepping may be "a symptom of deficiency of pantothenic acid" (Vitamin B5). Goose-stepping traders would be well advised to add liver, kidney, fish, and egg yolks to their diet. All are rich in pantothenic acid. Come to think of it, they already have a diet rich in eggs and fish (bottom fish). It's all very curious. Maybe it's too rich a diet.
