you guys are acting as if these companies were pepsi and us steel. this industry is in transition mode between big growth and consolidation. the real money to be made is investing in mid-sized companies like netcom and uunet that are apt to get bought by the serious contenders with deep pockets. these unifications will win the fight at the expense of corporate deadweights like aol and prodigy same as a handfull of strong pc houses beat ibm into submission. bet on a diversity of top 5 isp providers with the understanding that their income is not what will drive the most significant price movement but the coming buyout era. divest from aol and prodigy since its their party that will be crashed by the hungry interlopers... d
